I'm Hoang, the photographer behind Sota Studio, and Thi is my wife and my teammate. We're based in Minneapolis, love slow mornings, strong coffee and the way light moves through a room. I trained in wedding photography and freelanced for years before we started Sota Studio together.
I photograph, and Thi works right beside me: planning the timeline, looking after the details and helping everyone feel at ease. She also acts as a second photographer, capturing candid shots of the extra special moments. Our own story began with a few quiet portraits of just the two of us, and we noticed how much of us was in them. That's what we chase for you: not stiff poses, but the real glances, the laughter and the in-between moments that make your day yours.
