Sota Studio ("we", "us") is a wedding and elopement photography studio based in Minneapolis, MN. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send an inquiry, we receive what you enter in the form: your names, email address, wedding or session date, location or venue, estimated guest count, how you heard about us and your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you write.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and tools may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit.
Cookies, the Meta Pixel and advertising
We may use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to understand how visitors use the site, measure the results of our ads and show our ads to people who may be interested in our work. The Pixel can record actions such as viewing a page or submitting an inquiry and share them with Meta. Meta's use of that data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy. Photographs we take for clients are shared only with the client unless they give us permission to display them. Couples shown in our portfolio have agreed to be featured. If you appear on this site and would like a photo removed, contact us and we will take it down.

We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as needed to respond, provide our services and meet legal and accounting obligations, and then delete it or keep it only in a form that identifies no one.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. Contact us and we will respond promptly.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
